LASAGNA PINOY STYLE 2017

Dahil pasko na naman sa Pinas, I've decided to cook something different to our usual salu-salo. I have watched alot of youtube videos about the recipe and minodify ko yung ibang recipe since limited ang resources natin dito.


LASAGNA PINOY STYLE 2017


Ingredients:


  • Lasagna Pasta 
  • 1 tbsp of salt
  • 1 tbsp of oil
  • water
  • Foil



Red Sauce:

  • Tomato sauce in creamy & cheese (available in supermarkets or you can buy the regular tomato sauce - the one we usually buy in cooking spaghetti)
  • 1/2 kilo of ground beef
  • Onions, chopped
  • Garlic, chopped
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 tbsp of tomato paste
  • mushroom
Bechamel Sauce:

  • 2 packs of all-purpose cream (i prefer using the alaska brand)
  • 1/2 cup of Evaporated milk (you can also use the regular milk)
  • Grated cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • butter 
Procedure:

For the lasagna pasta, you can cook it according to packaging, but here's mine

In a 1/2 filled water for pasta
  1.  Add a pinch of salt.
  2. Add 2 tbsp of oil.
  3. Stir it and let it boil.
  4. Add the lasagna noodles.
  5. Wait for at least 5-10 minutes.
  6. Drain the pasta noodles with cold running water. 

Red Sauce:
  1. Lutuin yung beef hanggang sa lumambot. Magdagdag ng tubig kung natutuyo, para lumambot yung beef.
  2. Kapag lumambot na, may oil na yung beef kasi nagmantika na siya. 
  3. Igisa yung beef with onions, garlic, then mushrooms.
  4. Add a pinch of salt and pepper. You can add more according to your taste.
  5. Add the spaghetti sauce/ tomato sauce.
  6. If yung nabili niyo ay creamy and cheesy, okay na yan. If regular na italian style or pinoy style, optional kung magdagdag ka ng all purpose cream.
  7. Add 1 tbsp of tomato paste. Stir it well and let it boil.
  8. Set aside while you start cooking the bechamel sauce.

Bechamel Sauce:

Over a low heat,

  1. Add the butter. 
  2. Add the all-purpose cream, para masimot yung pack, maglagay ng kaunting tubig then shake it. Add it to the pan.
  3.  Add the 1/4 cup of evaporated milk.
  4. Lagyan mo na ng salt & pepper.
  5. Haluin habang pinapakuluan. Then add the grated cheese. Stir.


  • Gamit yung oven safe na lagayan (may nabibili na nakafoil na lagayan, forgot the name).
  • First layer yung red sauce, spread it evenly, add the pasta (usually 3 lasagna noodles kasya).
  • Sa ibabaw ng noodle, maglagay ng bechamel sauce, then grated cheese. Then repeat the 1st layer starting from red sauce.
  • Kapag malapit na mapuno, magstop ka na sa noodle. Ilagay mo yung bechamel sauce tapos MARAMING CHEESE sa ibabaw para mag melt.
  • PREHEAT the oven for atleast 10 minutes.
  • Takpan ng foil yung ibabaw para hindi agad masunog yung cheese sa ibabaw.
  • Ilagay sa oven at 180 degrees celsius for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, tanggalin yung foil sa ibabaw tapos oven ulit for 10 minutes.
  • Serve it.
